As soon as we saw Jon Hamm’s handsome face at the Emmys, we thought: What’s up with his beard? Well, here’s the answer. Hamm was in England working for four months, and when he finally got home he decided to stop shaving for a bit, he told E! News. Diana Schmidtke, who handles Hamm’s grooming, said that for the Emmys, “well-groomed was the ultimate goal,” since she had to “work around” Hamm’s beard. That was simple, said Schmidtke, who used products by Anthony Logistics: “What makes a man stand out is the way he carries himself. ... That’s what Jon does.”
