Wanna visit London and Paris on your next trip? We highly recommend hopping on the Eurostar train to get between the two cities. It’ll save you the airport hassle, for one.

• The trip, which runs between the centrally located St. Pancras station in London and equally convenient Gare du Nord in Paris, takes a little more than two hours, is comfortable and offers pretty views of the English and French countrysides.

• Prices vary greatly depending on how early you book your ticket (they start at about $100 round-trip and go up to about $500), so book as far in advance as possible. There’s a four-month booking window available.

• Special tip: Don’t arrive five minutes before the train leaves, because you have to go through customs and security. Give yourself at least 30 minutes.
