Investigation continues into Brooklyn car crash that killed pedestrian

The investigation is continuing into a car crash in Bath Beach near Bensonhurst Saturday afternoon that killed pedestrian Chenugor Dao, 60, of Bath Beach and injured eight.
Dao was killed after an Acura MDX traveling north on West 5th Street collided with a Jeep Cherokee going east on Quentin Road. The Acura jumped the curb, killing Dao and injuring her husband, daughter and 1-year-old granddaughter.
Dao's family was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where they were in stable condition yesterday.
Also injured was a 21-year-old male passenger in the rear of the Jeep; he was listed in critical condition at Kings County Hospital. The 41-year-old male driver and two other female passengers who were also hurt were taken to Maimonides Medical Center and listed in stable condition.
The 70-year-old male driver of the Acura refused treatment.
