The daughter once berated by Alec Baldwin is now standing by his side.

Over the weekend, 17-year-old Ireland Baldwin tweeted a long-winded defense of her father after MSNBC suspended his talk show because he reportedly hurled a gay slur at a paparazzo.

“My dad is far from a homophobe or a racist,” read one of the tweets in Ireland’s 15-message rant.

“Paparazzi can bring out many confined feelings of anger and spite out of anyone,” she wrote.

On Saturday, Baldwin penned a column for The Huffington Post in which he denied using a gay slur.

“I never used the word f----- in the tape recording being offered as evidence against me,” he wrote. “What word is said right after the other choice word I use is unclear. But I can assure you ... that a direct homophobic slur (or indirect one for that matter) is not spoken.”
