Who's the boss? More like who's the mayor.
Tony Danza on Thursday hinted at a possible run for the mayor's office, saying that as he gets older he's noticing more aspects of the city that need to be fixed.
"I'm of a certain age, and you see things, and you think maybe you could help," Danza said at the premiere of the movie 'Premium Rush,' according to The Wall Street Journal. "You say: 'Let me fix the city. Let me run for Mayor.'"
Danza, 61, who was born in Brooklyn and lives in the city, didn't specify exactly what aspects of the city he would fix, adding that any mayoral run right now is strictly theoretical.
"I'm concerned, I'm up-to-date, I read the papers," said Danza, who starred on "Taxi" from 1978 to 1983 and "Who's the Boss" from 1984 to 1992. "But could I stand the scrutiny? I'm not sure. It's a tough job. And it's not like anybody's asking me," he said, the Journal reported.
Fellow actor Alec Baldwin has also expressed interest in running for mayor.
Danza's rep didn't return requests for comment.
