Isaac Mizrahi talks animal rights at ASPCA's Bergh Ball
Animals were, of course, on the brain at the ASPCA's 16th annual Bergh Ball at The Plaza on Thursday night, from the adoptable pooches at the event to the carriage horses outside.
"It's sort of heartbreaking, the whole [carriage horse] thing," designer Isaac Mizrahi, the event's master of ceremonies, told us. "They're such a symbol of New York, but I do think perhaps there's a cruelty."
Mayor Bloomberg and daughter Georgina Bloomberg, Chuck Scarborough and Carolina Herrera also attended.
