Queens man sentenced to 16 1/2 years in prison for beating wife to death with baseball bat, DA says
A Queens man has been sentenced to 16½ years in prison for beating his wife to death with a baseball bat.
District Attorney Richard A. Brown says 57-year-old Isaiah Smith of Queens Village was sentenced Thursday.
He pleaded guilty to manslaughter in September.
Tiffany Pettiford was attacked in their home on June 8, 2010. She was 28.
