Jamie Foxx: 'Give an honor to our Lord and Savior Barack Obama'

Jamie Foxx has found God -- and apparently it is President Barack Obama.
While hyping up the crowd during Sunday night's Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas, the actor-singer-comedian referred to Obama as the messiah.
"It's like church over here. It's like church in here," Foxx said. "First of all, give an honor to God and our Lord and Savior Barack Obama. Barack Obama."
Foxx, 44, seemed to make the remark in jest, but conservative news outlets quickly rebuked him, and the comment even garnered a mention on influential right-wing news aggregator DrudgeReport.com.
Foxx's rep didn't respond to a request for comment.
