Jane Lynch was visibly choked up when talking about late “Glee” star Cory Monteith on “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday.
The actress, who appeared with Jay Leno to promote her show “Hollywood Game Night,” did not hold back her emotions when asked about Monteith, who died from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol over the weekend.
“Cory had one of the biggest hearts, he was a real bright light,” Lynch said.
She also noted his appreciation for starring on a successful show like Fox’s “Glee.”
“He was one of those guys who was always aware that it was a gift,” she said.
She added: “He’d throw parties for his friends. I don’t think he left one day unlived.”
