Jason Wu is expanding into the world of cosmetics.

The fashion designer, who famously designed first lady Michelle Obama’s gowns for the inaugural balls in 2008 and 2012, has partnered with beauty giant Lancôme to create a cosmetics collection.

“The brand doesn’t impose a model of beauty but rather invites women to embrace themselves,” the 30-year-old designer said in a statement. “This is the embodiment of a truly sexy, modern and confident woman, much like the women I design for.”

The collection hits stores in September.

In addition to his high-end main line, last year Wu designed a lower-priced collection for Target and last month introduced a contemporary line, Miss Wu, which is sold at Nordstrom.
