A day before he rocks the Barclays Center at the venue's inaugural concert Friday, Jay-Z is hosting a private shindig at the soon-to-be-open arena.
The hip-hop mogul - who is playing eight shows at the new home of the Brooklyn Nets (in which he owns a stake) - is throwing a VIP bash at the Barclays outpost of his 40/40 Club, the upscale sports bar he owns in Chelsea.
We hear Jay-Z's wife Beyoncé is expected to attend the private party, as well as a bevy of the couple's celebri-pals.
