Jenna Jameson arrested for battery: Report

What a way to celebrate (almost) hitting the big 4-0.
Former porn star Jenna Jameson was arrested for battery on Saturday night before a party to celebrate her 39th birthday, TMZ.com reported Sunday.
Prior to the soiree, which was slated to be held at the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, Calif., the blond bombshell reportedly assaulted someone in Newport Beach’s Balboa Peninsula neighborhood around 8 p.m.
According to TMZ, the alleged victim, whose identity was not revealed, put Jameson under citizen’s arrest before flagging down a police officer, who cited Jameson for battery.
Jameson was later released, TMZ reported, but there was no word yesterday as to whether the birthday bash went on as planned. Last week, Jameson kicked off her birthday festivities by partying with pals at Crazy Horse III Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas, according to reports.
Saturday’s battery incident isn’t the adult actress’ first brush with the law. Last year, Jameson — who turns 39 Tuesday — was arrested for DUI in Southern California after crashing her car into a pole.
