Jenny McCarthy will join 'The View'

Jenny McCarthy is set to join “The View” beginning Sept. 9.
McCarthy will join co-hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck left the show last week to join “Fox & Friends."
McCarthy, 40, called joining the show a “lifelong dream.”
Joy Behar is leaving the show, while Walters is stepping down from the desk next year.
