Jet returns to gate at LaGuardia because of smoke
A regional airliner bound for Columbus, Ohio, returned to the gate at LaGuardia Airport because of smoke in the cabin.
There were no injuries.
Delta Air Lines spokeswoman Susan Elliott said 20 passengers were aboard Flight 6020 on Thursday. Chautauqua Airlines was operating the 50-seater for Delta.
Elliott said it left the gate at 8:53 a.m., but turned back because of the smoke.
