Jets set course for Seattle

After backing into their bye week on a two-game losing streak, the Jets (3-5) begin the second half of their season with two games on the road.
On Sunday, that means flying out to Seattle for a matchup with the surprising Seahawks (5-4). Here are some keys to the game (CBS, 4 p.m.).
Dealing with the 12th man
The Seahawks faithful pride themselves on being a raucous bunch capable of unnerving visitors. It's worked so far in 2012, with the Seahawks winning all four games at CenturyLink Field - yes, that includes the infamous Monday Night Football victory against the Green Bay Packers. In past years the Jets have played well on the road, but they are just 1-2 this season.
Muscling Russell
The Week 10 matchup marks the fourth time this season the Jets will face a rookie signalcaller. This time, it's third-round pick Russell Wilson, who beat out free agent Matt Flynn for the job in the preseason. He has played well (13 TD passes, 8 picks), but if the Jets sixth-ranked pass defense could force standout rookie Andrew Luck into a bad game, it can do the same to Wilson.
Time for Tebow
No, that's not to say Tim Tebow should start this week - or even next week. But it seems pretty clear the Jets offense needs to try something new to create scoring opportunities. The Jets average 12.4 points in their losses. They rarely use the QB who threw 12 TDs and ran for six more in leading the Denver Broncos from disaster to a playoff victory last season. Mix him in for 15-20 plays and see how it goes.
