We — along with a few friends — have a running joke that once the ubiquitous character actor Joey Slotnick is on your radar, you’ll never get rid of him. Meaning, you’ll literally start to see him all over Manhattan.

Seriously.

We had no idea who Slotnick was until two weeks ago, and since then we’ve spotted him not once but twice. Once at a deli on Seventh Avenue and 18th Street and once at the Mermaid Inn with BFF David Schwimmer.

If you’re reading this — and are a full-time New Yorker — consider yourself warned.

And hey, while we’re at it, feel free to e-mail us with your Slotinck sightings — we’ll be keeping a running tally.
