Comedy Central's Jon Stewart and Fox News' Bill O'Reilly will spice up the debate season by squaring off in a 90-minute "Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium" at George Washington University, 8 p.m. on Oct. 6.
The debate will be live-streamed at $4.95 a pop from Therumble2012.com with tickets for non GW students to be sold for $75 and $100. Half the proceeds will be given to charity, though there was no word on what would be done with the rest of the gate.
Topics will include the national debt, gas prices and the U.S. relationship with the Muslim world.
The debate will be moderated by former Fox News Live host and CNN contributor E.D. Hill, who earned her own blip of fame in 2008 for asking if the fist bump between President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, was a "terrorist fist jab." She later apologized.
"I believe this will be a very enjoyable night for fans of our programs, political junkies, partisans and people who just enjoy yelling," Stewart said in a statement.
"I had no idea my agent signed me up for this," O'Reilly said. "How can I get out of it?"
