The jury in the Etan Patz murder trial finished its fifth full day of deliberations Wednesday without a verdict in Manhattan Supreme Court.
The jury asked for a list of all the witnesses and exhibits in the case, and also requested a readback of testimony from Chelsea Altman, 6-year-old Etan's best friend.
Pedro Hernandez, 54, of Maple Shade, New Jersey, a one-time bodega clerk in the SoHo neighborhood where the boy disappeared in 1979, is charged with murder and kidnapping. Deliberations are scheduled to resume on Thursday.
