Justin Bieber is feeling a little heartbroken, and he wants you to know about it.

The Biebs dropped his first single since January on Monday, and it likely covers his pain from splitting with Selena Gomez last November. Fittingly, it's called "Heartbreaker."

The song is the first of 10 new tunes Bieber said he will drop weekly starting yesterday as part of his "Music Monday" campaign, and it is all but a sad ode to his breakup with Gomez.

"It's a song for people going through a heartbreak -- like I was when I wrote it," Bieber wrote in describing the song on Instagram.

"It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans," Bieber, 19, wrote. "I'm very proud of this song and I hope it gives my fans some insight into my heart."

Gomez, 21, recently spoke to ABC's "Good Morning America" about the split, and said she'll always love Bieber.

"He and I have such a history together," Gomez said. "I'll always care about him and protect him if anyone tries to be mean."
