There will be no shortage of star wattage at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as the likes of Kayne West, Jessica Simpson and Gladys Knight will join the bigger-than-life balloon newbies Kung-Fu Panda and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

The “balloons have always been representative of what is happening in popular culture,” said Orlando Veras, Macy’s spokesman. “These two new giants will fit in perfectly.”

In announcing their parade lineup yesterday, Macy’s also said that Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Keri Hilson and the muppets from “Sesame Street” will round out the holiday performances at the 84th annual extravanganza.

The parade begins at 9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day and will follow last year’s route, starting at 77th Street and Central Park West and winding its way down to Herald Square.

Macy’s is expecting more than 3.5 million people to attend the parade, and more than 50 million TV viewers to tune in nationwide.
