Katy Perry has roared to the top of Twitter.

The pop sensation is now the most-followed person on the social network, with her 46,550,000+ followers topping Justin Bieber and his 46,519,000+ beliebers this weekend.

Bieber sat atop the Twitter heap for about 9 months after taking the crown from Lady Gaga, whose 40,405,000+ followers put her third.

Perry, whose new album “Prism” dropped last month, recently spoke with USA Today about her social media strategy, telling the paper: “I’ve learned how to ride social media,” and that she has “learned how to tame that social media dragon.”
