Kelly Bensimon: Nude, Neutral hues for spring

Nudes and neutrals aren't just easy to wear - this season, they're the statement-makers.

Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz both wore neutral gowns to the Oscars, and from there, the hue has been on everyone's mind - for one reason or another.

Personally, I've rocked a few neutral frocks so far this season, like a chic gold-and-nude Arzu Kaprol dress to this week's Jeffrey Fashion Cares fundraiser.

Plus, I've been so neon-obsessed for spring that nudes and neutrals are a nice break from intense color overload. Accessory-wise, instead of a hot-pink or lime-green shoe or bag, try an accessory in a primary color as a fun way to brighten up a nude or neutral look. I love navy-blue patent Manolo Blahniks; hot short nails in navy, red or even green; and bold handbags (Chloe's leather Marcie satchel in red is my fave).
