I want to add a few great pieces to my spring/summer wardrobe. What are the absolute must-haves of the season? A little white dress, colored or patterned jeans and platforms. They're all so fun - and versatile.
I'm looking to buy a figure-flattering but still sexy one-piece swimsuit. Any ideas? The one-piece is white-hot and sexy. I love Letarte, which has some gorgeous low-cut solid and patterned suits. Melissa Odabash also makes great one-pieces with ruching along the front, which is always flattering.
Do you know where I can get custom slip covers done in NYC for under, say, $600 a sofa? I'm looking to give my apartment a much-needed update. Jill Zarin (my former co-star on "The Real Housewives of New York City") from Zarin Fabrics (314 Grand St., 212-925-6112) did the beautiful purple couch in my living room. Inquire about pricing.
I'm not sure what to wear to a summer wedding. Part of it will be outside - it's not black-tie or anything, but I can't go as casual as a sundress. At a wedding, you want to look stylish and also festive - weddings are meant to be fun! Dresses by Theyskens' Theory this spring are especially hot: They're short, loose and come in fun colors like bright pink and metallic silver.
