Kelly Clarkson pregnant: Expecting first child with hubby

Kelly Clarkson had better learn some lullabies.

The songstress is expecting her first child with new hubby Brandon Blackstock.

"I'm pregnant!!!" she announced via Twitter on Tuesday night. "Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)."

She also shared the news on Facebook.

Meanwhile, during an interview on NBC's "The Tonight Show" last week, the 31-year-old "American Idol" Season 1 winner laughed off Jay Leno's questions about rumors of a pregnancy, but said the two were "trying, trying, trying ... like rabbits."

Clarkson, 31, and Blackstock, a talent manager, wed on Oct. 20. He has two children from a previous marriage.
