Kelly Clarkson is one popular - and money-making - "American Idol" alum.
The Season 1 winner was the top-earning "Idol" alumnus in 2012, with earnings of $8 million, according to a new Forbes report.
Ranking behind Clarkson are Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry, who each earned $5 million.
