I’m going to my first polo match out in the Hamptons. What should I wear?
For the opening of the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge in Bridgehampton, I wore an Escada silk shirt and shorts in yellow. Two weeks later, I’m ready to forecast fall. I love a sexy jogging pant. (Theory 38, Missoni and Vince make them in great colors.) I’m obsessed with the easiness of the athletic yet chic look. Pair with a hot pair of gold heels, and you’ll be fashion-forward and sexy.

The weather is hot but my office is frigid! What’s a gal to wear?
Always bring a light sweater just in case — Joe Fresh has cute and inexpensive sweaters. But try to make it outside once during the day; fresh air always helps to inspire you, and a change of scenery always helps keep you more alert.

What should I wear to an outdoor summer wedding that’s not black tie?
Definitely do not wear white. I’ve seen tons of people at summer weddings in white. It’s disrespectful and not cool. What you should wear is a boldly hued tunic dress or a floral-print dress. Topshop has fun, trendy dresses too that keep you from feeling like you are a bridesmaid.

Be as festive as possible; just promise me you won’t wear white.

I always feel — and look — like a sweaty mess at barbecues and other outdoor summer events. How can I keep cool?
I’m obsessed with a ponytail this summer. Add some light Tom Ford makeup and Jennifer Miller gold hoops to complete your flawless face.

I don’t exactly love my thighs. How can I feel comfortable wearing shorts?
Unlike jeans, which look better tighter, shorts should be loose and easy. And shorts come with rules: If you are sporting short shorts, wear a loose top. Don’t show it all off; leave a little mystery.
