It was sweet while it lasted.
Carlina White, the girl who was kidnapped from Harlem Hospital in 1987 as an infant and tracked down her biological parents after 23 years, has returned to Georgia and is now estranged from the biological mother who grieved her loss, her mom, Joy White, told the “Today” show yesterday.
Despite last month’s tearful reunion, Carlina still feels a pull toward her kidnapper’s family and was upset to find out that her biological parents hadn’t saved any of the $750,000 settlement they received in connection with her disappearance, her tearful mom explained.
Her biological dad, Carl Tyson, has a different view, telling ABC News that he is still in touch with her.
