GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Care to get the one of the best seats in Madison Square Garden for Carmelo Anthony's expected debut as a Knick Wednesday night?

As of Tuesday afternoon, they could be yours -- for a mere $10,000 apiece, courtside.

Such was the frenzied action on the secondary ticket market for an event that was not guaranteed to happen. It was likely, but not certain, as of Tuesday that Anthony and other newcomers in a blockbuster trade would be in uniform against the Milwaukee Bucks.

But there were several physicals required before it all became official.

That didn't stop ticket prices from skyrocketing in anticipation of a historic night.

FanSnap.com, a site that monitors availability from dozens of sites, listed 1,828 tickets at 5 p.m. Tuesday, ranging from that high of $10,000 -- make that $11,000 if you include fees from StubHub.com -- to a low of $120 apiece at the highest levels of the Garden, behind one of the baskets.
