Koch: My bridge 'better' than GWB

Former Mayor Ed Koch says his bridge is “better than the George Washington Bridge.”
The feisty former politician made the assessment Monday as Mayor Michael Bloomberg signed a bill renaming the Queensboro Bridge in Koch’s honor.
Koch, who’s 86, was the city’s 105th mayor. He helped repair the Queensboro and other bridges while in office from 1978 through 1989.
The Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge links Manhattan and Queens over the East River.
