Kourtney & Kim can take back L.A. Really, it's OK

If Sunday night’s premiere of “Kim & Kourtney Take New York” was any indication, we’re in for a long (read: snoozy) season.

Maybe we’re snobbishly biased, but we don’t think there’s anything about the Kardashian clan (klan?!) that works anywhere outside of L.A. or Miami. Their overly groomed appearance — spidery false eyelashes, heavily contoured makeup, super-skinny heels and deep tans — look glaringly out of place in 2011 NYC.

Plus, it’s boring to watch them only hanging out in their TriBeCa hotel room or in dark midtown lounges, which seems like it’s going to be the norm.

Oh, and we already know where they chose to open their boutique Dash (SoHo), so it’s a bit redundant to watch them decide on a location. Not to mention, their search had been documented to death in real time a few months back, by the tabloids.

Hopefully, Scott Disick will keep things interesting, because Kim’s personality is ho-hum — in any city.
