Kristin Cavallari models wedding gowns days before breakup

Kristin Cavallari said “yes” to the dress, but a few days later, her fiance said “no” to the marriage.

In an unfortunate twist of fate, the ex-“Hills” star modeled wedding gowns in a magazine photo shoot less than a week before Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler broke off the couple's engagement.

The former bride-to-be was glowing at the July 21 photo shoot, which is featured in the new issue of Life & Style Weekly, telling the magazine: “I want a romantic, mystical wedding with lots of flowers.”   

But things headed south soon after. Cutler, 28, reportedly broke things off with his 24-year-old finacee because her career in the entertainment biz requires her to spend a lot of time in Los Angeles (he's based in Chi-town with the team) and because of a rift over when to start a family.

“Kristin really loved Jay. She is devastated," a source told Life & Style.

The two were expected to get married next spring.
