L'chaim! Paula Abdul travels to Israel for her Bat Mitzvah

Paula Abdul has traveled to Israel to get Bat Mitzvah'd at the Western Wall, a source told us Tuesday. The coming of age ritual usually takes place around age 12 for girls.

The 51-year-old, who is Jewish, flew on EL AL Israel Airlines on Tuesday from Los Angeles to Jerusalem.

This is Abdul's first trip to Israel. While there, the singer-competition show judge also plans to tour Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Galilee and meet with President Shimon Peres and Tourism Minister Uzi Landau.
