Labrador retrievers still top dog

It's a dog-eat-dog world: Labrador retrievers were named the most popular dog breed for the 22nd year in a row by the American Kennel Club. German shepherds were second and golden retrievers reclaimed the third-most popular title from beagles this year.
The club notes this trend demonstrates bigger breeds are making a stand against their pint-size counterparts.
