Roseland Ballroom is getting a "monster" of a send-off.
Lady Gaga is set to play the final shows at the historic venue, which last month was reported to be closing down in the spring, according to a post on her Facebook page yesterday.
The post said that Gaga, who is coming off a warmly received "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig, will play March 28, 30, 31 and April 2 to "shut down her hometown venue with a real New York theatrical affair."
"Gaga will play the final shows EVER at the Roseland in a very intimate residency," the "Poker Face" singer's Facebook page said.
Tickets for the event will go on sale starting Monday at 10 a.m., and prices start at $52 for general admission.
Roseland opened in the city in 1919 and moved to its current location on West 52nd Street in 1956.
A favorite of bands and fans for its size, the 3,500-seat venue joins a long line of iconic venues to shutter in recent years, including Kenny's Castaways, Southpaw in Park Slope and most famously CBGB in 2006.
