Lady Gaga tones down her fashion at George Clinton celebration

Lady Gaga doesn't always fashion a statement-making entrance.

The songstress "slipped in" to the Time Hotel's Inc Lounge on Tuesday night wearing a black draped hood that "covered most of her head - just revealing blond bangs," a witness at the lounge told us. Gaga was at the lounge to celebrate the George Clinton tribute concert at the Apollo earlier in the night.

Gaga sat at a small table with three friends.

At one point, though, she made her way through the crowd to take pictures with musician Bootsy Collins, and then posed with "anyone who asked," the source said, adding that Gaga was "extremely nice."
