A Manhattan law firm clerk was indicted Tuesday on grand larceny charges for stealing $376,000 worth of copy machine toner, the Manhattan district attorney said.
Adrian Rodriguez, 39, who worked at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP for a decade, allegedly purchased excess toner from the vendors who sold the parts to his firm and resold them for his own profit.
"This defendant didn't just take a box of Post-it notes out of the office supply closet -- he is charged with making an illegal business out [of] stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of copy machine toner," DA Cy Vance said in a statement.
