Law school grad pleads not guilty in murder of girlfriend

A Queens man pleaded not guilty Monday to murdering his girlfriend, who was found beaten and strangled in the tub of their Astoria home surrounded by bags of ice on June 26.
Jason Bohn, a 33-year-old law school graduate, was held without bail and could face life in prison without parole if convicted of murdering Danielle Thomas, 27.
Bohn, who allegedly violated an order of protection Thomas had taken out against him, was indicted on 10 counts, including first-degree murder because the grand jury determined there was evidence he tortured her.
Bohn's lawyer, Todd Greenberg , said he did not think that the evidence would support a first-degree murder charge and added, "my client's emotional state will be a factor in his defense."
Bohn's next court date is Sept. 24.
