Lawrence Taylor's son arrested on molestation, sodomy charges: Reports

The son of former Giants great Lawrence Taylor was arrested Sunday and charged with felony counts of statutory rape, sodomy and child molestation, according to reports.

Lawrence Taylor Jr., 31, was collared in Georgia and was jailed for allegedly forcibly performing oral sex on a 16-year-old girl on Saturday, and having sex "five or six times" in 2012 with a second girl under the age of 16, according to TMZ.com.

Taylor Jr. could face decades in prison if convicted. Aggravated sodomy and aggravated child molestation carry penalties of 25 years to life. The statutory rape charge could land him 10 to 20 years.

The elder Lawrence Taylor faced rape charges in 2010 for a sexual encounter with an underage prostitute. He pleaded guilty to patronizing a prostitute and sexual misconduct and served no jail time. He registered as a sex offender and was placed on probation.
