Lawsuit claims Shaquille O'Neal is a hacker
Is Shaquille O’Neal both a jock and a computer-hacking nerd?
Shawn Darling, O’Neal’s tech guy from 2007-2009, is suing the NBA All-Star, alleging that Shaq hacked into computers, broke into voicemails and tried to frame the former employee for possession of child porn, RadarOnline.com reported yesterday. Darling filed the lawsuit last month in Miami-Dade County, Fla.
O’Neal’s attorney released a statement yesterday calling the lawsuit an “utter fabrication.” The statement alleges that Darling copied thousands of Shaq’s e-mails, then demanded $12 million not to release them. When O’Neal, 38, refused to pay, Darling filed the suit.
