LeAnn Rimes is in rehab for "anxiety" and "stress."
"LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30-day, inpatient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress," a spokesman for the 30-year-old star told People magazine.
The rep said that the skinny country star is not seeking help for an eating disorder or substance abuse issue, despite serious speculation.
"While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms," the rep said. "While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."
Rimes is married to actor Eddie Cibrian - whom she started dating while still married to ex-hubby Dean Sheremet and while Cibrian was married to ex-wife Brandi Glanville.
"All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much," Rimes told People. "I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them."
Meanwhile, Cibrian, 39, is standing by his wife of a little more than a year. The couple renewed their wedding vows on their anniversary this year.
"My wife is the most remarkable and courageous woman I know," Cibrian said Thursday to People. "I am so proud of her for having the strength to finally take some time for herself. I will be with her every step of the way."
