Leona Helmsley’s dog, Trouble, has died in Florida.

The New York Daily News says the millionaire Maltese was 12. That’s 84 in dog years.

News of Trouble’s December demise just surfaced on Thursday.

She’d been cared for since her owner’s death by the general manager of the Helmsley Sandcastle hotel in Sarasota.

Spokeswoman Eileen Sullivan says the dog’s remains were cremated.

Helmsley left the dog $12 million, but a judge later reduced it to $2 million.

The funds have reverted to The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.

The hotel queen died in 2007.
