By now, you may have heard that Lindsay Lohan was late to her court-appointed community service gig at an L.A. morgue on Thursday — but, honestly, we’re just shocked she even managed to show up.

The struggling starlet made it to the morgue 20 minutes late for her expected 7 a.m. start, only to be turned away. Her excuse? She couldn’t find the entrance.

“Lindsay arrived at the morgue approximately 20 minutes late and will be returning for orientation Friday. Her lateness was due to a combination of not knowing what entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival,” LiLo’s rep told Radar.

It seems, though, that might not be entirely true: Assistant chief coroner Ed Winter told reporters there’s just no way the 25-year-old could have been that confused. Not only has she been to the morgue before, but the coroner's office gave the actress specific step-by-step directions on where to go upon her arrival.

Lohan must perform janitorial duty at the morgue twice a week until a Nov. 2 hearing, which will formally determine if she violated probation.
