Lindsay Lohan blew off her responsibility to promote her latest film "The Canyons," ditching photo shoots and skipping out on film festivals, according to a Facebook rant from the film's director Paul Schrader.
"I am mystified and disappointed by LL's refusal to support 'The Canyons,'" Schrader wrote Wednesday. "She is a producer of the film, a 25% owner. I hired her when no one else would. She fought to keep the role when I wanted to fire her for unreliability."
Schrader added that Lohan blew off a profile in The New Yorker, a cover story in Film Comment and an appearance at the film's European premiere. (Lohan's rep didn't respond to a request for comment.)
Reviews for the film, written by Bret Easton Ellis and starring porn star James Deen, were mostly negative, and LiLo's performance, though it did garner some positive attention, was mostly panned.
Lohan, 27, is coming off a stint in rehab and has mostly stayed out of the spotlight lately, though her mother Tuesday pleaded not guilty to a drunken driving charge and surrendered her license.
