It's kind of a joke that Lindsay Lohan even gets sentenced to jail at all, since she never actually serves any hard time.

The 25-year-old "I Know Who Killed Me" actress (sorry, we couldn't bear to write "the 'Mean Girls' star" another time) was released early Monday from an overcrowded jail after serving just over four hours starting at 9 p.m. on Sunday - the day after she allegedly crashed Leo DiCaprio's premiere party, for all you tabloid followers.

"All I can tell you is that she was already released," L.A. Sheriff's Deputy Tony Moore told People early Monday morning.

A sheriff's spokesman previously explained that Lohan could be sprung early due to a federal mandate to ease the overpopulated jail.

The off-the-rails starlet had checked herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., after she was sentenced to 30 days in jail last week for violating probation in her DUI and necklace-theft cases (remember that one?).

From here, she's got to work an additional 53 days of janitorial duty at the L.A. morgue and attend 18 more psychotherapy sessions, all by the end of March. If she slips, she could face an additional 270-day jail sentence, although since the odds of her spending more than a few hours inside are slim to none, we'd wager she won't even bother.
