Apparently, a gun is one accessory that Lindsay Lohan isn’t so fond of.

The starlet is disputing what may be the most out-there accusation against her yet — that she toted a gun along to a photo shoot for the August issue of Italian Vanity Fair.

The accompanying article in the August issue describes how Lohan brought the weapon — along with a pink fur coat, ha! — to the shoot, telling photographer Alan Gelati: “I’ve got a permit to carry a firearm, but it’s not loaded, I keep it in the house in case someone tries to get in,” according to PerezHilton.com.

Lohan’s rep calls the story hooey, saying: “Lindsay has never, ever owned any type of firearm in her life. I have no idea why someone would say that,” according to PerezHilton.

We’re happy to hear that Lohan is staying out of trouble ... at least for now (and if she’s to be believed this time around).

Lohan is in the midst of performing community service in connection to her January stolen-necklace flap.
