Coutess LuAnn De Lesseps threw a surprise 47th birthday party for fellow “Real Housewife of New York City” Jill Zarin at Chez Josephine on Tuesday night. The dinner party was filled with co-stars: Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, newbie Cindy Barshop, Alex McCord and Simon Van Kampen, who made a true entrance decked in a caftan designed from fabric from Zarin’s new bedding line.
“Jill was lured to the restaurant by her cousin, Debbie, who was going to take her out to the theater for her birthday and they were going to dine before seeing ‘Promises Promises,” a source told us. “Even Jill’s husband, Bobby, surprised her.”
An even bigger surprise than the party? There were no Bravo cameras around to capture all the action.
