Coney Island is getting its game face for another summer season.
Coney's Luna Park will open for its second season on Saturday, along with the world-famous Cyclone roller coaster and the park's brand new restaurant, the Cyclone Cafe. And per tradition, Brooklyn Borough president Marty Markowitz will christen the Cyclone at noon by breaking a bottle of egg cream against it.
The much-anticipated Scream Zone, featuring a Sling Shot ride that flings people 150 feet into the air, will open on April 21.
But opening day will be bittersweet. Decade-old mainstay Shoot the Freak won't return after being evicted last year. But seven other boardwalk staples that had been booted as well got a one-year reprieve, including favorites Beer Island and Ruby's Bar and Grill.
In other Coney news, producers for "Men In Black 3" may have the island's oldest building by leasing it to film at it.
