Madison Square Garden the coolest, says Rolling Stone

Madison Square Garden, which has hosted performers from The Rolling Stones to Led Zeppelin to Justin Bieber, was recently named America’s “coolest” arena by Rolling Stone magazine.
“It is very exciting to have been named the ‘coolest’ venue in America by music industry insiders in Rolling Stone magazine,” said Melissa Ormond, president of Madison Square Garden Entertainment.
The magazine polled 26 industry insiders and musicians who ranked the Garden above all other competitors.
Madison Square Garden is currently undergoing a three-year, $1 billion renovation. It is set to reopen this month.
The Dolan family owns controlling interests in Madison Square Garden and Cablevision. Cablevision owns amNewYork.
