Man charged with murder for allegedly stabbing mother 41 times, killing her

A Brooklyn man was arrested Saturday night for allegedly stabbing his 64-year-old mother to death in his Ocean Ave. apartment in Midwood, according to the NYPD.

Richard Cohen, 31, allegedly called 911 around 11 p.m. to say he had stabbed his mother, Anne Cohen.

Police responded and found her dead with stab wounds in the neck and torso, cops said.

Cohen, who reportedly has a history of mental illness, is charged with second-degree murder.
