Man dies after falling between subway cars

A man was killed Monday when he fell in the gap between two subway cars as the southbound train was pulling out of the Nevins Street station in Brooklyn, a transit spokesman said.

The man, whose identity authorities did not release, had been walking between the two cars when the incident happened around 6 p.m., transit officials said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
